Diagnosing pending, failed or missing Bitcoin and Lightning payments.
Pending on-chain payments
An on-chain transaction stays pending until it is mined into a block. When the network is busy, transactions paying lower fees wait longer. The transaction is not lost while it waits.
Failed Lightning payments
A Lightning attempt fails without moving funds. Common causes are insufficient liquidity along any route, an offline recipient, or an expired invoice. Request a fresh invoice, or try a smaller amount.
Missing incoming payments
Confirm the sender used the invoice or address you generated, and let the wallet finish syncing before concluding a payment is missing.
